It Began in 2001 at the age of 12, when I first saw Guinea pigs in the Pet shop, and I became very intrested in Guinea pigs ever since that day!
Pickles, Mother
At the age of 12, for my birthday I went to the Bird Centre where I brought Mother and daughther guiena pig pair.
The Mother was called, Pickles and daughther Coco.
They mother seemed to be a Rex mix and Coco seemed to be Rex X Abby.
The mother must of been about 2 years+ and the daughther about 6 months.

So I brought them home and was very pleased, as these were my very own guinea pigs, as I brought them with my own money for £15 each. We also brought a little dwaft bunny but unfortuntley died :(
About a year later I thought we could get another rabbit, so I went to a differnt pet shop and bought a dwaft-lop rabbit, but she wasent friendly towards the guinea pigs or people.
Soo one day my mum went while I was at school and retured the rabbit In trade for a beautiful suprise!
She was tiny, and really cute my next guinea pig to the group!
I came home from school that day, to find a really cute new guinea pig.
I named her CottenCandy, my sheltie or Peruvian X, two tone.
She seemed to get on really well with the other girls!
I continued looking after my cute guinea pigs, but one day Pickles passed away R.I.P.
Cottencandy and Coco were the best of friends and will always be!
Me and my friend Ellie then had an idea to breed them, so we went to buy a male guinea pig toghther, but instead she got females as the boy she wanted,had to brought with another male and he was getting bullied,so the girls it was!
We then thought of people that we might be able to borrow a boy from and we found out her sister had one so I brought Cottencandy round their house put her with the boy for about 3-4 weeks, but unfortunalty this wasen't long enough and she didn't fall pregnent, she would of had beautiful babies but by the time that was over she was too old to be a mummy.
But the year came round to my sister's birthday in April and she brought a girl guinea pig called Marshmellow, and my couzin bought a male and our first breeding took place in late December 2004!
Our 1st batch of Babies arrived 12th February 2005, 2 lilttle sows!
Then we really got into it from there......... Its now been about 4 years of breeding Guineapigs and keeping cavies, more than 7 years and 1 year of showing !
I have started up a small stud of, Texels and Peruvians, on the 10th Febuary
Also start breeding Satins, 1st one i got was on the 28th April 2007.
